Starting a Practice Three years ago, general surgeons Paul Conte, M.D., and Tim Field, M.D., teamed up with plastic surgeon Suzie Kuhnen, D.O., to form Iowa Specialty Surgeons. Their mission: to provide central Iowa with high-quality, compassionate medical care.
2017
Choosing an EHR Choosing an EHR Prior to striking out on this combined endeavor, the three physicians had used several EHR companies throughout their careers and hadn’t been entirely impressed with the results. For their new practice, however, it was unanimous: it was the best or nothing. So, the medical trio set out on a quest to find uncompromising EHR software, and as luck would have it, their billing solution provider recommended ChartLogic. At once, the doctors realized they had come across a superior EHR product.

2018
A Need for Billing Replacement Drs. Conte, Field, and Kuhnen were quickly trained on ChartLogic’s easy-to-use software and found EHR implementation to be a breeze. While the solution performed above expectations, the same couldn’t be said of the practice’s existing billing product. After a year and a half, the physicians decided to expand their relationship with ChartLogic by implementing our Practice Management software into their workflow. They also found it would be in the best interest of their business to leverage our full revenue cycle solution so that they could devote more time to patient care and less to billing.

Trust RCM to ChartLogic The RCM team at ChartLogic takes care of nearly all payments and collections for Iowa Specialty Surgeons, allowing the doctors at the small practice to focus on providing ISS with an exceptional, individualized experience.
